Reproduced in: Windows 2000 Prof (SP2 & SP3), Win98 SE, Windows XP Prof

DESCRIPTION:
When Mantis SDK/JRE is installed on a machine with both Netscape 6x and Netscape 7, plugin demos fail in Netscape 6x (Plugin is not registered). The browser tab in control panel shows netscape 6 as selected. Even on deselecting and re-selecting it, demos fail in Netscape 6x.
This problem as also been observed when mantis is installed on a machine with Netscape 6x & Mozilla 1.x. Here too, plugin demos fail in Netscape 6x. But, in the Control panel, Netscape 6 is unselected. On selecting (registering) Netscape 6 in the Control panel, the following error message is thrown.

"Unable to change browser settings. Please check that Netscape 6 is properly installed on the system &/or that you have sufficient permissions to change system settings"

How To Reproduce:
1. Install Netscape 6.2x
2. Install Netscape 7 (make sure NS 7 does not over write NS 6) or Mozilla 1.x
3. Install Mantis SDK/JRE
4. Run Plugin demos in Netscape 6.2x

Note: This problem has also been observed with Hopper fcs.

This problem is not observed if netscape 6 is installed over Netscape 7.
