When tried to install j2re, with mantis b15 onto a Win2K, an Error 1722 message dialog showed.

Bundle used: j2re-1_4_2-beta-bin-b15-windows-i586-24_jan_2003.exe
Platform: Windows 2000, english

Complete error message
Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows
Installer package. A program run as part of the setup
did not finish as expected. Contact your support
personnel or package vendor.

If check in Add/Remove Programs now, it shows J2re is installed, but JaWS application shortcut is not created.

Same configuration CAN install b14 without any problem, using the following

j2re-1_4_2-beta-bin-b14-windows-i586-22_jan_2003.exe

Was able to install j2re-1_4_2-beta-bin-b15-windows-i586-24_jan_2003.exe on another Windows 2000 (clean install) successfully.

But after removing j2re from control panel, and re-install it again, the bug shows up. so it seems, this happens when doing dirty installation.
