Installing the SUNWj5rt package with pkgadd -R from a server running on Sun hardware, to a client running on x86 hardware (or vice versa) fails with the following messages:

ERROR: attribute verification of </1.5.0-b32/tmp_add/usr/jdk/j2sdk1.5.0/jre/lib/
sparc/client/classes.jsa> failed
   pathname does not exist
pkgadd: ERROR: postinstall script did not complete successfully

Installation of <SUNWj5rt> failed.

I also saw this when we did s10_50 diskless client setup test. If I am trying to add s10_50 x86 diskless service on a sparc platform, I will see the following error, this is done via pkginstall -v mode:
