I just installed J2SDK 1.5-beta1 on my Windows 2K PC (current MS patches). After installation completed successfully, there are still .MSI files in "C:\Documents and Settings\$user\Local Settings\Application Data" in the directories "{32A3A4F2-B792-11D6-A78A-00B0D0150000}" (JDK) and "{3248F0A6-6813-11D6-A77B-00B0D0150000}" (JRE). Combined, they needlessly take up 54.4 MB.
They should not be there after installation is complete.
BTW, I noticed also have those for 1.4.2. There aren't any for 1.4.1, so this seems to have started with 1.4.2.
