A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Currently the amd64 version of the JDK crashes with a SIGILL on a Linux x86_64 system. Please modify so it also works on Intel EM64T.

JUSTIFICATION :
Intel EM64T is now available and very similar to the AMD64 technology. In order to take full advantage of the system a 64 Bit version of the JDK should be made available.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
64 Bit JDK works on Intel EM64T
ACTUAL -
Crashes with a SIGILL

CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
Using the 32Bit version works.
