I have created a textarea with SCROLLBARS_BOTH option. I have a lengthy text that would make the horizontal scrollbar appear. Press 'end' or 'ctrl + end'. Click on the left arrow and keep it pressed. I would expect the text to scroll until I release the mouse or until the begining of the text is reached. But on XToolkit, this is not happening. I have to press & release the mouse button everytime to get the text scrolling continuously.
This is reproducible only on XToolkit and not on Motif. I am able to reproduce this on Tiger with Solaris / Linux. Not reproducible on Win32.
I have attached a sample test. Execute the sample test. Type some text so that the horizontal and vertical scrollbars are enabled. Keep the cursor at the end of a lengthy line. Click on the left arrow on the horiz scrollbar and keep it pressed. If the text just scrolls once and stops, the bug is reproduced.
On motif, the text keeps scrolling till the begining of the text appears.
