FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
java version "1.5.0"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0-b64)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0-b64, mixed mode, sharing)
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When a Java Web Start application (which the user has already clicked Yes to trust) requests that desktop/menu shortcuts be created, or that file extensions and MIME types be set, JWS shows a dialog with an inappropriate "Warning" icon.
There should be no icon, or the icon should be a "Question" icon. "Warning" icons are normally used for conditions that might harm the user's computer. However, for a trusted application, there is no harm that could be done which is any worse than deleting all of the user's files, which the application could do since the user has Trusted it.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
