We are receiving lot of incidents where consumers are pasting the jvm (hotspot) crash log file into the incident. 5.0u4 is still placing the hs_err log file on the desktop. Still, most of the times we are missing the crash reports.
To make things easy for consumers in understanding/submitting this crash issue, following should be implemented:
1) At every JVM crash, the desired message at the top "Java Runtime Environment crashed because of an error" should be added.
2) Instead of putting the crash report on the desktop as a log file, we should provide user a possible online submission option. Else, we can even opt for both the options.
3) Users should be provided an option to submit the error report online with *Send Error Report* feature just like they receive when star office crashes (image so_crash_report.jpg attached).

This will be useful for engineering too in order to analyze the data and more log file data availability.
