Standard users on Vista have low-integrity, and therefore, cannot write into the registry. As such, the choices under "Default Java for browsers" to enable/disable Java from browsers becomes useless and confusing. Because, clicking on the choice to enable/disable Java will not have any effect.
However, in order to remove these selection boxes from Java Control Panel, we should consult our UE.
