      Description

        IPS is a new packaging system for Solaris 11. SVR4 Packages, the existing packaging system have scripts to configure Gnome and configure plugin. IPS does not have the same environment for running scripts. Distribution has put hooks in to call scripts to configure the Gnome desktop and configure Plugin. The current scripts need to be updated, tested and checked for conformance with the latest plugin. The Distribution Team can provide background material on how to use IPS advanced features to run scripts to perform post configuration changes.
