Platform: Solaris10u9 sparc,
desktop: java desktop system 3
Java bundle: b138 promotion
Open Java Control Panel, on general tab click the button "Settings" in Temporary Internet Files, and then click button "Change" on Temporary File Setting Dialog. The "Temporary File Location" dialog will pop up.
One button on the dialog is "Select". On windows, the mnemonic key of this button works. User can press Alt+S as the shortcut. On Solaris JDS, when user press Alt + S, it comes to the inputbox under "Selection :". S is not the mnemonic key of button "select". Attached is the screenshot.
In CCJK, when the button labels are localized, the mnemonic keys are dispalyed as (X). The label text of select button is "select(S)". On windows, it works, but on solaris, the (S) does not work. Attached is the snapshot in T. Chinese.
The fix only works on windows. From b141, on Windows XP, the mnemonic key S works well for "Select" button on "Temporary File Location" dialog.
On Solaris(JDS3), there is the inputbox named "Selection: ..." on standard JFileChooser dialog in gtk+ look and feel. Its mnemonic key is S. S is displayed there, not on the button "select".
