See Text.png. There image pattern applied to text. It's coordinates set to local coordinates of text. Width and height set to half of text's width and height. Also bounds of text is set to visual bounds. So image should be tiled 2 times horizontally and vertically. But you can see red strip on left of 'T' letter and red pixel on right of last 't' letter.
