Debian 3.2.41-2
jdk-8-ea-bin-b92-linux-x64-30_May_2013
This issue is the same as RT-31066 except I am using Debian Linux
I have bought an Ideaco IDC6680 Touch Screen so I can develop JavaFX Touch Event software.
This is to be done on Windows systems and the Raspberry PI.
When I attached the touch screen to my Pi system and ran the TouchEvents example,
nothing happened.
I ran a program getevent and this responded to the TouchScreen.
I then built a Debian system on a pc laptop.
I ran the TouchEvents JavaFX example and it did not respond to the TouchScreen
I ran the getevent program and this failed with permission problems.
I changed to root - getevent now worked.
I tried TouchEvents again and it still did not work
Regards
