Look at this screenshot.
Combo box items have old poor rendering and look ugly on Windows.
Moreover, I not found simple workaround to establish LCD-type rendering to items.
Even such workaround exists, behaviour considered improper, because ComboBox is Control and its items also related to controls ( and once more - they look ugly now )
