Reducing switches between Root Signatures can reduce CPU time spent during frame recording, plus it simplifies the logic behind initialization of Prism/Decora Shaders. Internal Shaders already use common Graphics Root Signature, so Prism/Decora Shaders would have to be modified to utilize the existing Graphics RS (and potentially expand it to accommodate their needs).
