The skara bot which sends out mails to the relevant OpenJDK mailing list, for updates to a PR on github, sent out this mail for a comment that was done in a github PR https://mail.openjdk.org/pipermail/security-dev/2024-June/040146.html. The corresponding PR comment is this https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/pull/19685#issuecomment-2172937379.
Notice how the email states:
On Fri, 14 Jun 2024 00:58:30 GMT, SendaoYan <...> wrote:
It appears that the bot has incorrectly attributed that quoted comment to SendaoYan instead of Sean.
To avoid issues like this, perhaps the bot should just include quote and not infer who made the quoted comment?
