The Active X Control file at c:\windows\Downloaded Program Files
is marked as "Damaged" in 1.3.0_01/02. Here are some java feedback
      entries...

      ------

I have a copy of Java Runtime Environment 1.3.0_01 on my Dell computer but
it has a "damaged file." Where can I find a source to download it and
      correct my problem? TIA

      ------

I am not familiar with java at all but I recently purchased netscape 6 and installed it into my computer. On checking your web page to find out the version of my plug-in it said to go to c:\windows\downloaded programs and see what version the plug-in is. Mine is 1,3,0,1. The information for the plug-in is in there twice and both times the status says "damaged". Can you help me with this?

      ------

have experienced problems with Explorer 5.5 on Windows 98. Cache gives the following status for Java Runtime Environment1.3.0.1: "DAMAGED" How can this be fixed?

      ------

However, when packaging Java Plug-in for our intranet clients, we have come
across some problems with the 1.3.0_01 and 1.3.0_02 versions.
For these versions, the ActiveX controls in the ActiveX Cache Folder
(e.g. D:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files) have the status "Damaged".
We haven't noticed any problems when running our applets, however.

      There are several more....
