Accept license

FTP download USWest

Save program to disk

Open


When I fire off j2re-1_3_1-win.exe, I am getting the error:

The System cannot find the path specified

With in the title bar the path:

C:\DOCUME~1\GHIJSE~1~DSM\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft9~tmp\pftw1.pkg

The directory related to this message that i can find is:

C:\Documents and Settings\ghijsen.DSM-INFRA\Local Settings\Temp

With the gnu cygpath utility, I get:

cygpath -w -s "C:\Documents and Settings\ghijsen.DSM-INFRA\Local Settings\Temp"
C:\DOCUME~1\GHIJSE~1.DSM\LOCALS~1\Temp

I do not have a workaround for installing the latest plugin version.

This also happens in JRE 1.4-beta installation.

There is no Java string available.

I have downloaded j2sdk-1_3_1-win.exe and the filesize and everything seems ok. When I execute the file, the unpacking process is ok, but then the message cannot find file "C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINISTRATOR\LOCALS~1\Temp\ptf278~tmp\disk1
\SETUP.EXE". After this the installation stops.

I've checked and the directory ptf278~tmp does not even exist. What can have happend?
