See also 6718415. We'll need to change the default button as part of this.
Also, issue #3: Wrong alignment of checkbox component in "Close Applications" dialog -- the check box should be centered according to the base line of the label. See the UE spec for current appearance.
I marked 6742940 as a duplicate of this. It describes an issue where there are sometimes empty records showing up with the FIU dialog.
I also marked 6714872 as a duplicate of this CR. We need to determine why jp2launcher.exe and java.exe are showing in our FIU dialog, and how to get a better plugin2 description in there.
The ok/cancel button functionality also needs a review:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch case of FIU003-001: Check Browser Version of FIU dialog and test with IE6.0
2. Install jdk6u10b332-fcs and verify installed java version is correct.
3. Launch IE Browser which loads some applet.(http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager).Make sure Java Console is not displayed.
4. Install jxpiinstall-6u18-bin-b03-windows-i586-rv.exe
There'll be the FIU dialogue pop up to indicate that one app has used Java, and with two menu of "Cancel" and "close browser and continue".
5. Click "Cancel",another notification pop up with two menu of "OK" and "Cancel" to show that java update incomplete and indicate user to select OK to complete it next time.
6. Click "OK".
7. Click "Cancel".
Expect results:
1. After step 6,exit the installation completely.
2. After step 7,back to the FIU dialogue in step 4.
Actual results:
1. After step 6,back to the FIU dialogue in step 4.
2. After step 7,exit the installation completely.
Another duplicate CR was filed for the empty records in the FIU dialog. Capturing the steps to repro:
How to reproduce no. 8?
1.) install 6u11.
2.) Set the registry to update to 6u14 and now launch jucheck
3.) Launch IE or FF with some applet. Make sure only juceck and IE is running no java console is running.
4.) Try to do PIP with new 6u14 release you will see the app version of dialog. It is not showing any other process.
